Tony Nunes - FBO Manager - 20 Years

 

Tony Started his Aviation career in the U.S. Air Force as a mechanic and then Crew Chief

on Heavy Transport Aircraft (C141B Starlifter) serving in Desert Shield and Desert Storm

among other campaigns.  While serving in the Air Force Tony attended the Community

College of the Air Force.   After  the Air Force, Tony majored in Safety Administration and

played football at Slippery Rock University.  Today he continues his education as a student

of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide.

 

Tony came to Dominion Aviation in 1995 and has held many positions including Line service,

Mechanic, Chief inspector and Director of Maintenance and FBO Manager.  Tony holds his

A&P I.A. and private pilot certificates along with several mechanic type ratings on

manufactures such as Bombardier, Gulfstream and Citation.  Tony is factory trained

in brands such as Cirrus and Cessna aircraft and currently serves on an advisory board for

Gulfstream aircraft.

Kim Kessler - Chief Financial Officer

 

Kim joined the Dominion Aviation team in March 2014 with enthusiasm to learn the aviation

business.  She is a certified public accountant with over 20 years of experience.  Kim has a

Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.  She moved to

the Richmond area with her family 20 years ago and has experience with a vast variety of

business entities and types.   Kim serves as Dominion’s Chief Financial Officer.  Her duties

involve all aspects of accounting, human resources and many aspects of the day to day

business operations.  

Mike founded Dominion Aviation in 1983 as an aircraft management and charter company. Mike, a 35 year veteran of corporate aviation, is dedicated to service and committed to quality with safety at the forefront of every decision. He is an experienced pilot with over 9,000 hours of flight time, is Airline Transport rated and certified to fly numerous corporate jets and helicopters.

Mike is on the Board of Directors of the Virginia Aviation Business Association and served as President of the organization from 2006 to 2010.

Each department of Dominion Aviation is led by a creative manager supporting Mike in his vision of aviation excellence. These managers form the solid foundation of the company and each average in excess of eleven years with Dominion Aviation.
